Question:
Hi,
I don't care what kind of help I get....well I would prefer Christian help. But
I don't care if it is from guys or girls...I just need help. I am really worried
about my friend, you see she falls into traps of temptation a lot. She listens
to music she knows she shouldn't and says things she knows she shouldn't. I don't
know what to do, I really want to talk to her about these things but I can't
bring myself up to it. The more she gets into this stuff the farther I feel from
her. So what should I do. I pray and will continue to but is there more i could
do?
Answer:
Hi ,
I can totally relate to your sistuation, from both sides. I have been that
person walking in rebellion and I have been the friend having to stand back
and watch my friend walk in rebellion. I will tell you that neither side
is easy. For the place that you are in though, it is so important that you
remain by your friend's side. Continue to be faithful to her. When people
start acting it, it is usually because of some inner turmoil. Standing in
the gap through prayer is so important. I am so pleased to hear that you
already see that. Pray that the Lord would do His work in her life. Pray
for yourself also, that God would guide you on how to be the friend that
she needs. He will present you with the opportunities to speak into her life,
but the biggest testimony will be the example that you set by how you live
yours. Never give up on her! She needs someone like you in her life.
I hope
that I was able to offer you even the slightest encouragement and advice
that you needed/were looking for. Feel free to contact me if you just need
some to talk to or to encourage you.
Be blessed and encouraged.
Walk in blessing and anointing THIS day, for this the day the Lord has made!
