Review Title: Charro!Posted by: dreamergirl818
Elvis Presley takes the screen as Jess Wade who leaves a gang only to be framed by the gangs leader as being the one who stole a valuable canon. He is Deputised by an old Sherrif friend of his and soon finds himself gunning down the gang leader. Pretty good movie. It has the "h" word in it twice and the "d" word once, and the Lord's name once, but otherwise it is clean. It's really different from his other movies, as he is not clean shaven in this, making him hader to recognise. I'd give it a 7 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best. ...

Review Title: Facing the GiantsPosted by: most2no
I love this movie. This movie shows the awesome power of God. With trust, faith, obedience and patience in God anything is possible. It starts off slow, but gets better. You'll learn a lot from this movie. The movie was made by a church! It looked kinda low budget, some of the actors/esses lacked enthusiasm, but the metaphors and good message makes up for it all. ...

THis movie was very encouraging to me. The documentery an inside look at North Korea by following the lives of two gymnasts in training to perform in what they call the "Mass games". Although these people are misguided in the leader of the country they follow, their example of devotion to him and the unity with which they follow him puts most Christians to shame. This movie not only gave me a heart for these beautiful people who are being deieved, but it also strengthened my own faith by seeing the examples of unity and the trust that they placed in their leader. I think other CHristians would benefit from seeing it as well. =) ...

Review Title: Tuck EverlastingPosted by: ReviewAdmin
While walking in the woods, a Tuck (Alexis Bledel of Gilmore s) meets a family who stay young forever. Based on the book by Natalie Babbitt. This is a bit of a romance movie, where Tuck has to choose between growing old, or staying with her love forever. There is hardly any bad content at all as it is rated PG. This would be an awesome movie for the whole family. It's cute, but I think it's more of a watch once type of movie. Starring Alexis Bledel, William Hunt, and Sissy Spacek. ...

Review Title: The Passion of the ChristPosted by: ReviewAdmin
The Passion of the Christ was one of the most anticipated movies of the summer. It was talked about and despised by many who said it would never make it, yet this movie has touch and inspired many people and making millions of dollars in the process. This film was sold out for weeks here in Mobile, AL and around the country. The word Passion refers to suffering of Jesus Christ. The movie starts out in the garden of Gethsemane, where his passion {Suffering} started and ends at his triumphant resurrection from the grave. This movie not only portrays the suffering of Jesus Christ for the sins of the world, but it also portrays the suffering of a mother, as she sees her soon being beaten, striped naked and crucified. The film does a great job of capturing deep human emotions and reproducing them in such a real way. Jesus...

Review Title: The NotebookPosted by: ReviewAdmin
“The Notebook” has got to be the best romance movie of the summer if not of the year. Based upon The Novel “The Notebook”, written by Nicholas Sparks the passionate storyline grabs your attention and keeps it through out the entire movie. It starts off in a nursing home where an old man is reading a book to an old woman, who has dementia and cannot remember her life. It is a story of a high-class rich girl “Allie” who was staying with her family in their summer home in Seabrook. While there she falls in love with a low class guy “Noah” who works at the local lumberyard. After awhile Allie and her parents get into an argument about her dating him and she is forbidding to date him. Then Allie and her family leave Seabrook and return home. Allie and Noah lose touch and Allie meets another guy...

Review Title: The IncrediblesPosted by: ReviewAdmin
The is pretty vivid. The explosions are epic. The fisticuffs are frenzied. And babies are dangled and dropped. "Remember those guys you watch on Saturday morning cartoons?" Elastigirl asks Dash and Violet. "These guys are not like those guys. They won't exercise restraint because you're children. They will kill you if they get the chance." Clearly, it's unwise for families to think of The Incredibles as a kid's movie just because it's animated. Animation can express any genre. And this time it's not a children's genre. That said, "if I direct my comments toward s and teens, the actual target audience of The Incredibles, I'm less apt to express worry about the effects of its intensity and more inclined to ramble on about its artistic merits and positive story line." "What are you waiting for?" Mr. Incredible asks a nosey neighbour boy. "I don't know," the kid replies, "something amazing...

Review Title: Shark TalePosted by: ReviewAdmin
Fish are at the top of the food chain in the cultural pool these days. A great sea world movie that appealed to everyone was Finding Nemo. And Sponge Bob Square Pants' undersea environs decorate gazillion toddlers' bedrooms. Now add DreamWorks' Shark Tale. In it, two deep-sea worlds collide when a thin-finned hustler fish named Oscar meets a wide-bodied great white shark called Lenny. At the time of their first encounter, Oscar is hog-tied and in the process of being d by a couple of jellyfish goons who work for Oscar's puffer fish bookie, Sykes. Lenny's being trained by his brother, Frankie, to be a mobster (their dad is the don). When they stumble upon poor Oscar, things start happening pretty fast. Frankie orders Lenny to eat Oscar. Lenny refuses. (He gets queasy every time he contemplates eating meat.) And then, quite suddenly, a speeding boat anchor terminates Frankie. When Oscar gets back...

Review Title: Spiderman 2Posted by: ReviewAdmin
The spider man series does a wonderful job of bringing to life the timeless comic-book hero, Spider man. Spider man 2 will go down in history as one of the best action adventure sequels. Review Title: Shrek 2Posted by: ReviewAdmin
They say that the sequel of a movie is never as good as the first movie, but I believe that Shrek 2 makes that belief false. Shrek 2 was just as good, if not better then Shrek one. They continue on with the same characters we know and love from Shrek one, while adding many other unique characters to the story line. In this movie Shrek and Fiona are just coming back from their honeymoon, when they receive a telegram inviting them to their wedding ball hosted by Fiona’s family in the town, ”Far, far away” Her family has not seen her as an ogre nor have they met Shrek. When they meet for the first time Shrek and her father, the King, do not get alone. The king then tries to have Shrek killed. When Shrek finds out he goes looking for the fairy Godmother to find a potion...

Review Title: I RobotPosted by: ReviewAdmin
Chicago police detective Del Spooner is prejudiced: He s robots. Unfortunately for him, it’s 2035, and robots have taken over all the world’s menial jobs, including garbage collection, cooking and dog walking. The chief inventor of the robots made by U.S. Robotics is Dr. Alfred Lanning, and he built into them three laws: Law I) Robots may not harm a human being and must prevent humans from being harmed. Law II) Robots must do whatever they’re told unless it conflicts with Law I. Law III) Robots must protect themselves unless doing so conflicts with the first two laws. But do the laws really work? Spooner doesn't think so. And when Dr. Lanning is found in the lobby of the U.S. Robotics headquarters, an apparent, Spooner is suspicious. While investigating the crime scene along with his company “minder,” Dr. Susan Calvin, Spooner discovers a new NS-5 robot hiding in Dr. Lanning’s office. It's no...

Review Title: Big DaddyPosted by: ReviewAdmin
Just another one of Adam Sandler's great movies. A slacker (Adam) tries to get his friend back, by gaining custody of a cute little boy. Of course he soon becomes attached to the kid, but he runs into a lot of problems with his lack of parenting skills. This movie's loaded with humour. This is a great movie that a lot of teens would enjoy, but some of the humour is a bit inappropriate. This movie features Adam Sandler, Joey Lauren Adams, and Jon Stewart. Its rated PG-13 because of swearing, so it's definitely not a family movie. But if you happen to catch it on TV sometime, that version isn't nearly as bad. ...

Review Title: Blue CrushPosted by: ReviewAdmin
A surfing chick that works as a maid prepares for a big surfing competition in Hawaii. She must overcome her fears, or give up her dream. Then her dream guy, a NFL quarterback comes along and she's never been so confused. This is an awesome movie, about accomplishing your dreams as well as finding out that you really are along the way. This movie is Rated PG-13, which I think is a little bit of an understatement. There's fighting, name calling, unchristian like relationships, and some very disgusting parts. Starring in this movie are Kate Bosworth, Matthew Davis, Michelle Rodriguez. ...

Review Title: A Bug's LifePosted by: Tina
This is a hilarious movie about a group of ants that are always under the grasshopper's commands. It's about one ant's struggle to be accepted by others. As well as regain the ants right for freedom, and to gain the princesses' heart. However that one ant makes a lot of mistakes along the way. While on his journey he finds some "warrior" bugs that meet up with the ants. This is an awesome movie with a lot of humour. The short film in the beginning is even about an old guy playing checkers with himself! This is a definite must see for the whole family! There're no bad parts it's rating G is well earned. ...
