History:
Anointed
Youth was started in the fall of 2002 by Ta'wanna (Tia) L.. Anointed Youth
was initially named "Christian Youth Perspective", however that name
wasn't in God's plan! We registered the domain name and started off
with a very simple site in February of 2003. The sites first page was
an introduction to what we called the "J-pill (Jesus pill)" explaining
how Jesus was the answer to every problem and need. For a couple of
months the site was stagnant and saw very little growth. There was
much prayer and fasting done and then it was time for the site to come
into it's own. Every area on the site started growing and God has been
blessing it every since.
Mission Statement:
Anointed Youth is an online Christian Youth organization that strives to reach Christian youth, help them learn more about Jesus, and help them grow in their relationship with him. This is accomplished by bringing together teens and young adults from all around the world to discuss issues closest to them and bringing Christ more into their lives daily by means of online content and online fellowship, and further supported by offline materials.
Vision Statement:
Anointed Youth’s online ministry currently is getting over
two hundred hits a day. The ministry maintains an e-pal database,
a message forum, and a peer-to-peer help group. Anointed
Youth is not trying to be the best site on the net, but is trying
to build a Christian youth community where youth will always feel
welcome.
Our Focus:
So many young people today are giving into drugs, sex, witchcraft, and
many other attacks of the devil. In addition, many young people do not
accept Christ. Although this may seem okay on earth, life is only for
so long, but eternity is forever. There needs to be a focus, throughout
the world to change the lives and thoughts of our young people. Anointed
Youth strives to help with that focus by promoting safe-havens on the
internet and throughout each community.
